Mõistan nii inglist kui venet ja lugesin läbi mõlemad, originaaliks olnud vene on autentsemgi. Põhisisu on selles, kuidas Peterburist Soome poole jäävas ajaloolises ja hinnatud mereäärses suvilarajoonis rallikorraldus oli. Et suvilasse tõttavad mammid ei tea ega taha teadagi mis on ralli ja patseerivad kus juhtub, julgestama pandud ajateenijatel on pohlad, miilitsad vaatavad mitte rada vaid kella mil koju saaks, novorusskije kimavad võistluses tekkinud pauside ajal rajal, trassiks on valitud kõnniteid kus puudevahet poolteist autolaiust ja nii edasi.. Tundub olema surmaõnnetuse järgne emotsioonidest kantud padukriitika, kuna NII MASENDAV EI SAA JU ÜKS ÜRITUS OLLA! :-(. Aga mine tea, võib-olla saab ka, mõnel maal.

+Three weeks ago, on April 30, there was the first asphalt stage of the Cup of France in rally.
On the first special section of the second part of the track the crew of Mr. Tierry Vincent (Pegeaut 306 S2000), who was the sixth in the Absolute, had a fatal accident. Both the pilot and his navigator died on the spot. The rally had been stopped, results of races had been counted according to the first section+

No official information from the organizers of Sestroretsk 2006" rally neither about the accident nor about the condition of the navigator of that crew or about the conduct of race's participants in the first minutes after the news about the tragedy has been received.

. Organizers keep mum, the race continues, the special section where the accident occurred is passed by other sportsmen in a routine regime. There is almost one hour interval between the second and the third pass on Solnechnoe section. Along an allegedly blocked track a car passes crazily with the number 57 - turns around with the help of a hand brake at an edge of café table and speeds away to the direction of Repino.

Mr. Sergei Zhidkov: Organizers say that one can not accelerate quickly on narrow roads and this is more safe. But this is nonsense. We are constantly told that we do not understand anything. But this is said by people who never participated in races themselves and who refuse from a suggestion to drive on this track on a right side seat of a race car. Probably they do not realize what pleasure" they miss."

Rules. There are so many rules have been written that the time has come to publish a full collection of works in several volumes. For organizers, for racers, for mechanics, for spectators, for generals+ The trouble is not in the lack of instructions. A severity of laws in Russia has always been compensated by their liberal observance."

Those who sit with their computers after that race painfully discuss a quality of a body of that race car, the speed which it hit with an ill-fated retarder, rude violations in sportsmen' actions in the first minutes after the accident. How fast everybody forgot the events of 2004 summer!
Somebody says that the cause of the accident - a mistake of the crew". Somebody - a fatal concourse of circumstances". Circumstances painted on a warm asphalt of the highway.

Mr. Alexei Shchoukin: "I drove on this section and at this rally as a whole beginning from tests
in the 8" car of Mr. Arcady Kouznetsov and finishing by groups A and WRC with Mr. Uspensky and had come to two interesting conclusions. Special section Solnechnoe. A combination of parts of lower highway which allows to cut angles

Traffic police blocks the section of the road but in this closed zone a private car dashes past. Two laughing girls are driving a quatro-cycle. People still walk along a road which within minutes or seconds will become a trajectory. Spectators are already in hundreds. They form a living corridor along zones of braking
on muddy uneven asphalt at outward arches of turns+.."Off the roooooad !!!", - wildly shouts a sergeant. Welcome to a rally.

Mr. Alexei Shchoukin: A driver begins to move not on some thinkable trajectory but simply in square-cluster manner: accelerated-braked-even did not turn but skirted; accelerated-braked-jumped off a boarder-accelerated again. Practically he has no right for a slightest mistake."

A policeman not far away looks at his wrist watch - how long to waste time here?

Sestroretsk" rally which is being held in densely populated quarters of this resort town in a suburb of Saint-Petersburg seems to be one of risky if not the most risky rally in Russia.
An equipment improves, crews grow up, experienced generations are substituted by fearless boys. And a rally which traded Zhiguli cars for Lancer cars does not fit any more into a yearly format of vanishing sub-variety of asphalt races of Russian series. Sestroretsk rally becomes a kind of corrida+

At the same time the total lack of space for a manoeuvre turns a race into a kind of a lottery: you are lucky or you are not. However on narrow roads a number of killed" cars is counted in scores."
